The Hargrave Middle School Basketball Team played hard but struggled in a 34-9 loss to a nice Roanake Catholic team on Tuesday. The Tigers had difficulty getting their offense going. Slater Barefoot was the leading scorer for the Tigers with 7 points. Gabriel Cabral added 2 points, and also had 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Zach Szostak, who recently joined the team, was Hargrave’s leading rebounder with 8. The Tigers next game will be Monday at Carlisle.
